Posted on Aug 23, 2011Jovan’s WOWs
Jovan’s savory artisan crackers are getting rave reviews. Not only are people who try a taste continually surprised at how delicious our crackers are (it’s so great to see people’s eyes light up), doctors, exercise specialists, trainers, and naturopaths are enthusiastic to recommend our savory snacks.
Recently WOWed Medical Exercise Specialist Jaime Hernandez’s response went something like this: “Holy fiber and protein batman!” We also got some great feedback from Dr. James Rouse at Optimum Wellness who shared “Jovan’s are top notch.”
Good Snackin’
“A good snack generally consists of a good balance of carbohydrates, protein and fat,” says Hernandez of Health & Exercise Prescriptions. We like being a favorite. Here’s a little breakdown by bag from Health & Exercise Prescriptions’ latest post about healthy snacks:
Jovan’s crackers have lots of nutrition packed into very few calories. Four servings gives 268 calories with half your daily serving of fiber and almost two bananas worth of potassium. Jovan’s also contain a good amount of Essential Fats, Omega 3′s and are Gluten-Free!
- Calories = 268
- Carbohydrate = 24 grams
- Protein = 12 grams
- Fat = 16 grams (Remember these are the good fats!! Omega 3′s)
- Fiber = 8 grams of fiber which is about 40% of your daily recommend allowance!! Wow!
- Potassium = 712 Milligrams which is about two medium sized bananas full of potassium
What’s not to love? All pure ingredients; all with the purpose of serving your body’s needs, and satisfying your taste buds at the same time. Hernandez says you should be consuming 3 meals and 2-3 snacks a day—-so Wow your body & enjoy!
Full of the things your body needs and loves, and free of all of the things it doesn’t.

"After a long battle with cancer at a young age, I became passionate about health and wellness, and giving my body the fuel it needed to heal and thrive. What we choose to eat can play a major role in how we look and feel, and even how resistant we are to disease. These crackers are a direct result of my whole-hearted desire to share something healthy and nutritious with you."
